Особенности

1. Nucleation Effect

Nucleating agents provide a large number of crystal nuclei during the polymer crystallization process. In the absence of nucleating agents, polymer chains rely on their own thermal motion to form crystal nuclei, a relatively slow and random process. Nucleating agents act like "implanting" numerous tiny nucleation seeds into the polymer, enabling the polymer chains to quickly and orderly arrange themselves around these seeds.

2. Anti-yellowing Effect

During processing, many polymers, due to the effects of heat, oxygen, and light, produce chromophores, resulting in a yellowing of the finished product. Blue flake nucleating agents can improve this effect by leveraging the principle of optical complementarity. Yellow and blue are complementary colors. When a product has a slight yellow tint, blue nucleating agents can neutralize it to some extent, making the product appear whiter and more transparent.

3. Transparency Enhancement Effect

Nucleating agents can help polymers form finer, more uniform spherulites. When light passes through a polymer product, these fine, uniform spherulites scatter less light, thereby improving the product's transparency. For example, in polyolefin plastic products, the addition of nucleating agents can significantly reduce haze and improve transparency.

4. Rigidity Enhancement Effect

Nucleating agents promote polymer crystallization, increasing the degree of crystallinity and making the polymer molecular chains more tightly packed and ordered. This compact structure enhances the rigidity and hardness of the finished product. In applications requiring high rigidity, such as automotive parts and electronic and appliance housings, polymer products containing nucleating agents can meet these performance requirements.
