Photoinitiator 1020 is a highly efficient free radical (I1) solid photoinitiator primarily used in conjunction with tertiary amine synergists for UV curing of unsaturated prepolymers (such as acrylates). It is also an intermediate in the synthesis of organic pigments, pharmaceuticals, fragrances, and pesticides. It can be used in the polymerization of unsaturated prepolymers, such as acrylates, with multifunctional vinyl monomers.

It is widely used in various UV curing systems and exhibits strong absorption properties in UV inks, varnishes, and other systems. It can also be added with other initiators. The recommended dosage is 2-5%.
