LX-1 Blue Light Absorber works primarily by absorbing harmful blue light from everyday life through a blue light-blocking factor incorporated into the lens substrate, achieving the protective purpose of blocking blue light and thus protecting the eyes. This technology, known as substrate absorption, differs from film-reflective technologies that reflect harmful blue light through a coating on the lens surface. Blue light-blocking lenses using substrate absorption technology do not reflect blue light. Alternatively, another technology combines substrate absorption and film-reflective technologies for more effective blue light blocking.
