Antioxidant 1098 is an ammonia-containing hindered phenol antioxidant characterized by high temperature resistance, extraction resistance, low volatility and migration, excellent thermal stability, and high antioxidant efficiency. It exhibits significant synergistic effects when used in combination with phosphate ester antioxidants. It is suitable for polyamides, polyoxymethylenes, polyesters, polyurethanes, polystyrenes, ABS resins, elastomers, and adhesives. It is used as a heat stabilizer for polyamide polycondensation to prevent color change during processing, spinning, and carding. The typical dosage is 0.1-0.5%.
